How did Cook'in Garden become eco-friendly?

- Categories :

For over 3 years, Cook'in Garden has been working to limit its impact on the environment.

Whether it's in the design of our products, our packaging or the way we manage their end-of-life, find out more about the solutions we've put in place:

DESIGN / MANUFACTURING

- Eco-design of our products: fewer parts, fewer screws

- Optimisation and re-use of spare parts between the different ranges → we limit the creation of tooling and make repair easier

- Creation of 100% repairable products with a spare parts service

- Use of FSC wood for sustainable forest management

TRANSPORT / PACKAGING

- Elimination of over-packaging

- Replacing plastic with cotton beads

- Replacing polystyrene with chipboard

- Creation of eco inked packaging

- Use of vegetable-based ink

- Vacuum hunting

SORTING / END OF LIFE

- Products designed with a maximum of recyclable materials, to facilitate waste management

- Reuse of packaging: the product's cardboard becomes a child's toy thanks to a cut-out pattern

- Information on sorting and recycling conditions

Reuse of packaging

Eco inked packaging

Wood products ® FSC

While a great deal of work has already been done on the product and packaging, we want to go even further by optimising the CO² emissions that can be linked to the transport of goods, the activities of our teams, the travel of our sales staff and even life in the office.
